On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is our great pleasure to invite you to the Asian Pacific Association for the Study of the Liver (APASL) Single Topic Conference (STC) 2026 Kumamoto, which will be held on September 18–19, 2026, in the vibrant and historically rich city of Kumamoto, Japan. We are delighted to welcome you to this dynamic city, renowned for its cultural heritage, natural beauty, and warm hospitality.

The scientific program will feature invited lectures, plenary sessions, symposia, and free paper presentations, all focusing on the theme “Liver Cancer Control: Ending Hepatitis, Halting MASLD/MAFLD”. The program is designed to provide the latest advancements and innovative perspectives for hepatologists, fostering the exchange of cutting-edge research and clinical insights. 

We warmly encourage the submission of abstracts for both oral and poster presentations. Excellent papers will be awarded as “Presidential Award”, “Investigator Award”, “International Travel Award” or “IASL-AHF-APASL Joint Research Award”. We welcome all categories of hepatology-related abstracts, including case reports, and anticipate a robust response that will spark engaging and productive discussions.
