Dear Colleagues Prof. Masao Omata has been bestowed with The Emperor Showa Memorial Academic Award, which is the greatest medical award by Japanese Red Cross Society, in Japan, for his contributions for long time, to research for viral hepatitis and liver diseases, on 16 July 2025. I attached the photo from Japanese news paper that Princess Kiko Akishino gave the award and talked with Prof. Omata, in Sendai, Japan.
