We are so delighted to announce the awardees of APASL Award 2026 !!
This year’s APASL Named Awards and Rising Star Award go to the following doctors !!
APASL Okuda-Omata Distinguished Award Dr. Chien-Jen Chen
APASL Powell-Sarin Achievement Award Dr. Ryosuke Tateishi
APASL Lesmana-Sollano Great Mentor Award Dr. Tawesak Tanwandee
Presenters will be selected based upon the following criteria
High original scientific research and achievements in a given area of liver diseases
Continuous Contribution to APASL Activities
Leadership role in academics and science in the field of Hepatology
Persons with at least ten papers in Hepatology International, including five papers with his/her name as the first or as the correspondence author will be considered
Presenters will be selected based upon the following criteria
Active scientific research in the field of Hepatology in process
Willingness to contribute APASL activities
Continuous attendance to APASL activities
Age younger than 40 years
Persons with at least five papers in Hepatology International, including three papers with his/her name as the first or as the correspondence author will be considered
The APASL Steering Committee will review all eligible applications, and will be responsible for selecting the Award recipient.
The recipient will be invited to attend APASL Annual Meeting to receive their award.
