On behalf of the Organizing Committee of the 35th APASL Congress (APASL 2026 Istanbul), which will be held in Istanbul on 22–25 April 2026, we are honored to invite you to participate in four studies on Artificial Intelligence (AI) that will be conducted and subsequently presented at the congress.

Study 1

Topic: Can we predict the development of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) in the course of chronic hepatitis, liver cirrhosis, and hepatocellular carcinoma using artificial intelligence? Can an AI-mediated scoring system be developed to predict HCC development in these diseases?

Study 2

Topic: How can artificial intelligence assist in the differential diagnosis of dysplastic nodules and HCC in patients with liver cirrhosis? Can an AI-based model be developed to predict which dysplastic nodules in cirrhotic patients transform into HCC?

Study 3

Topic: Can artificial intelligence be useful in predicting the development of cholangiocellular carcinoma in strictures developing in cases with indeterminate biliary strictures (with primary sclerosing cholangitis)? In patients with indeterminate strictures, can the risk of cholangiocellular carcinoma be predicted through AI-based modeling using MRCP images, laboratory findings, and clinical factors?  

Study 4

Topic: Can we predict the development of HCC through artificial intelligence in liver transplant recipients who have achieved sustained virological response and those who have not?
